Abstract

The teaching of applied social sciences, especially the Administration course, suffers a lot of criticism regarding the skills/abilities of graduates at the end of their degrees. Notes about the distance between theory and the reality of companies are frequent criticisms from the actors involved in the process. In this context, the present work aims to investigate how the junior company of the Administration course at IFSULDEMINAS - Passos campus contributes to the student's management practice. The methodology used was qualitative. Three students were interviewed and their interviews were recorded, transcribed and then analyzed. The result of the research carried out in this work shows how management practices can be a path to knowledge and expansion of the management skills of students who participated at some point in the junior company's projects.
