Abstract

The research aims to analyze the crucial role of leadership in promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in supermarkets. Considering the importance of a diverse and fair environment, the presence of individuals with different abilities and perspectives not only strengthens business competitiveness but also enriches organizational culture and enhances social accessibility. The methodology is based on a comprehensive literature review, aiming to understand inclusive leadership practices and their impacts on the integration of people with disabilities in supermarket employee teams. The research approach is qualitative, and the tool used is the unstructured interview. The subjects are managers working in a supermarket unit. The results highlight the decisive influence of leaders in promoting inclusive policies and practices, ranging from adapting physical environments to establishing training and awareness programs. At the end of the article, it can be concluded that engaged and committed leaders play a fundamental role in creating inclusive work environments that value and respect human diversity, thereby promoting well-being and organizational effectiveness.
