MIGRAÇÃO, REFÚGIO E INCLUSÃO SOCIAL: ESTRATÉGIAS INOVADORAS DE APOIO NA INTEGRAÇÃO DE MIGRANTES, REFUGIADOS E OUTROS

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyze possible integration strategies for migrants, refugees, and other populations, with a view to social, cultural, and economic inclusion. The migratory and refugee flow in Brazil is considerably high, and the country is one of the states that sign international agreements to receive displaced populations from their countries. The high flow of populations welcomed in Brazil brings with it the challenge of integrating these individuals into the social, cultural, and economic sectors, so that they can enjoy a dignified life on national soil. Here we have the social responsibility of the Brazilian State and of national citizens in the search for strategies capable of integrating displaced populations into the structural layers of the country, providing dignified conditions of life and permanence. To develop the theme of this research, the integrative literature review methodology was used, using indications provided by scientific studies, books, legislation/standards, and statistical data, to then produce the results presented here. This was research with a qualitative approach, of a basic nature, with a descriptive objective and a literature review procedure. All the analysis carried out produced results that demonstrate the responsibility of the Brazilian State in the promotion of actions and programs for the integration of foreign populations welcomed in the country and should therefore have strategies capable of including them and reversing the exclusions produced by the xenophobia still identified among Brazilian citizens. Among the possible innovative strategies, the promotion of awareness programs, professional training, improvement of the Portuguese language, programs with companies for hiring foreigners, educational programs and many others were identified. In its final considerations, the research reinforces the urgency of providing better integration conditions for migrants, refugees, and other populations in Brazil.
